More about Boys Town:
Mission and Vision
History

Boys Town is a beacon of hope for America’s children and families through its life-changing youth care and health care programs across the United States.  Now 90 years strong, Boys Town is embarking on a new mission to affect change in a fragmented system of youth care by building a continuum of care to provide the right services at the right time.

Our Continuum of Child and Family Services contains the programs that allow a child to enter Boys Town services at any level, and move up or down services based on the child or family’s needs.  From Child and Family Support Services to Intensive Residential Treatment Center Services, Boys Town is the only child and family agency to offer a broad spectrum of treatment with overarching spiritual and education values, along with medical care and care coordination for every child and family served.

In 2006, our communities in the Village of Boys Town, Grand Island and Southwest Iowa, provided help, healing and hope to 3,126 children.  We can help your child too!

Boys Town gets outstanding, long lasting results.  View our 16-Year Follow-Up Study to see how former youth are performing after leaving Boys Town.
